Using Arizona ESA funds for homeschool curriculum
Arizona's Empowerment Scholarship Account programme puts state education money in a family's hands to spend on approved curriculum, and Clareza is registered with the Arizona Department of Education and set up with ClassWallet, which is how those funds are spent. There is one rule worth understanding before you spend anything, because it changes what you buy.
Arizona will not pay for a family subscription, and that is the whole complication
The ADE Parent Handbook says ESA funds cannot be used for online subscriptions that cover more than one user, such as a family membership, unless the receipt itemises each individual student. Clareza sold direct is exactly that: one flat price for every child in the household. It is the best thing about the pricing and it is the one shape the programme will not reimburse. So for ESA families there is a separate licence sold per student, for a fixed term, which produces the itemised receipt the programme asks for. This is the programme's rule about its own money, not a different opinion about what Clareza is worth.
Which door is cheaper depends on how many children you have
Worth doing the arithmetic out loud, because the answer is not the same for everyone. The household plan is $290 a year and covers every child you have. The ESA licence is $270 a year per student. So with one child the two are within twenty dollars of each other and the ESA licence is very slightly cheaper. With two children it is $540 against $290, and from there the household plan wins by more with every child you add. If you are paying with your own money and you have more than one child, buy the household plan. The reason to use ESA funds instead is not that they are a better deal per dollar. It is that the money is already allocated to your child and does not sit there forever, so spending it on curriculum costs you nothing out of pocket and leaves your own money alone.
Three ways to actually pay, and the one that goes wrong

The invoice names your student, lists what is being bought and how many pages it runs to, and goes through ClassWallet DirectPay exactly as the licence does. How to pay for Clareza through ClassWallet
We are a DirectPay vendor, which means there is no listing to add to a cart. Instead: first, request an itemised ESA quote below, giving the student's name exactly as it appears on their ESA account, because that is what makes the receipt itemised in the first place. The itemised invoice is emailed to you straight away. Then log in to ClassWallet, choose to pay a vendor, and search for "Professor C's" (our legal name is Professor C's Academy LLC, so that is how ClassWallet lists us, not "Clareza"). Upload the invoice and submit it. The Arizona Department of Education reviews it, and once approved ClassWallet pays us directly and we set up the student's account.
If you cannot find it, or a purchase is not approved
Vendor search inside ClassWallet is by the vendor's registered name, so if "Professor C's" does not come up, try the full "Professor C's Academy" before assuming the registration lapsed. The invoice you get from the form below is also what manual reimbursement needs, which works even when the vendor search is not cooperating. Please do not send passwords, payment information or ClassWallet account credentials, in the form or by email, we never need them and never ask for them. If a purchase is declined rather than simply missing, that decision is made by your ESA account and the Arizona Department of Education, not by us, and their own help desk can tell you why faster than we can guess.

If your programme wants documentation in a particular format, ask and we will send it.

Is Clareza approved for Arizona ESA?
We are registered with the Arizona Department of Education and set up with ClassWallet, which is the payment system the programme uses. Whether any particular purchase is approved is decided by your ESA account and the programme's own rules.
Why is the ESA price per student when the normal price is per family?
Because Arizona says so. The ADE Parent Handbook excludes subscriptions covering more than one user unless the receipt itemises each student. Our household pricing is exactly that kind of subscription, so ESA families buy a per-student licence instead. Nothing about the product changes.
Can I use ESA money for some children and pay for the others myself?
