Working parents
Can I homeschool while working full time?
Yes, many parents do, by moving lessons to the hours they are home, choosing work older children can do with less help, and arranging an adult nearby for young children. It is easier from about Grade 3, when children can work more on their own.
School does not have to be 9 to 3
Lessons at home take far less time than a school day, and they can happen in the evening, early morning or on weekends. Clareza has no set class times, so the lesson waits for you.
Match the help to the age
From Grade 3, Clara, the teacher built into every lesson, teaches and explains each wrong answer while you check in. In K-2, phonics and math run on screen with an adult nearby, and science and social studies are short activities you do together two or three times a week.
Stay in the loop from work
The parent dashboard shows what each child mastered and where they are stuck, and a weekly progress email arrives when there is something to report. Hours are logged while your child works.
What this is not
- Clareza is not childcare. A young child still needs an adult at home.
- Clara is an AI and can be wrong. Look over the work each week, not only the dashboard.
- Some states ask for records, hours or testing. Check yours at /homeschooling-in.
