Year-round schedules
Should we homeschool year-round?
Many families like year-round homeschooling because it spreads breaks through the year, such as six weeks on and one week off, so days are shorter and less is forgotten over a long summer. It suits children who do better with routine.
Common schedules
Six weeks on and one off, four days a week all year, or a normal year with a lighter summer. A school year is usually about 36 weeks, so spreading it over 52 makes each week lighter.
Breaks when life needs them
A new baby, a move, a sick week: a year-round plan has room to stop and still finish. Clareza has no set class times or term dates, so the next lesson is waiting when you come back.
