Afterschooling
How do I help my public school child at home after school?
Pick the one subject that needs help, work at the level your child is actually at, and keep it short, about 15 to 30 minutes a few times a week, so it does not compete with homework and rest. More is not better after a full school day.
Find the gap first
Ask the teacher what is hard, look at recent tests, or start a grade below to see where things break down. In Clareza you can add a course from another grade, so math can be a grade back while reading stays put.
Short and regular
A few short sessions a week beat a long one on Saturday. Stop while your child still feels good about it.
Close to what school teaches
Clareza math follows the Common Core State Standards, which many public schools use, so the skills usually line up with class. Clara explains each wrong answer instead of just marking it.
What this is not
- Clareza is a full curriculum, not a homework helper. It is not built to help with school assignments.
- It does not follow your school's pacing or your teacher's worksheets.
- The price covers every subject and child, so using it for one subject costs the same.
