The socialization question
How do homeschooled kids get socialization?
Mostly through regular activities outside lessons: co-ops, sports, classes, clubs, faith or community groups, and time with family and neighbors of all ages. A schoolwork curriculum, Clareza Academy included, does not provide it.
Where the friends come from
A homeschool co-op or group that meets weekly, a team, a library or park program, scouts, music or art lessons. The same faces each week is what turns a group into friends.
Short lessons leave time for it
School at home usually takes less time than a school day, so there is room in the afternoon for the activities where children meet others.
Watch your child, not the debate
If your child is lonely, add one regular group and give it a few months. If they are happy and have friends, that is the answer.
What this is not
- Clareza is not a social program. There are no classmates, group classes or chat with other children.
- Each child works on their own lessons. Siblings are not taught together.
- Clara is an AI, not a friend or a classmate.

Questions parents ask
Are homeschooled kids less social?
Not when they have regular time with other children. What matters is the activities, not the schooling.
How do I find a homeschool group?
Ask at your library, search for co-ops near you, or ask in local homeschool groups online.
Does Clareza have group classes?
No. Every child works one to one with Clara, with no other children.
