One price for the whole household

Homeschool curriculum for multiple kids

Clareza Academy is a K-12 homeschool curriculum where one price, $29 a month, covers every child in the household, and each child gets their own login, their own grade level and their own progress. Most online programs price per student, so the second and third child are where the bill grows. Here the bill does not change when a younger one starts or an older one reaches high school.

One price, every child, every course

$29 a month covers every child in the family, every grade and every one of the 71 courses. No per-child seats, no course limits, and no charge for adding the younger one when they start. That is $348 a year whether you have one child or four. There is also an annual option at $290 a year, which you choose from your billing page once you have an account.

Each child has their own login, grade and progress

Every child gets their own login, their own grade level and their own progress, all under one subscription and one login for you as the parent. One subscription covers the whole catalog, from learning-to-read through Precalculus.

Different grades for different subjects, per child

You set the grade for each child and can change it whenever you like. On top of that you can add or remove individual courses from the whole K-12 catalog for any child, so grade 8 maths with grade 5 writing is a normal setup, not a workaround.

One dashboard for all of them

The parent dashboard shows who is stuck and on what. From the parent side you can see what each child worked on, what was mastered and what was struggled with, and open any lesson to read the whole conversation between Clara, the teacher built into every lesson, and that child.

Records for every child, without a spreadsheet per child

Instructional hours log automatically as each child works, mastery is tracked per skill as a portfolio record, and a transcript prints in one click. With three children that is three sets of records you are not writing by hand.

Where the younger ones still need you

For reading, maths and every subject from 3rd grade up, Clara does the teaching and the questions grade themselves. Kindergarten through 2nd grade science and social studies are short hands-on activities you lead together, with Clara for a five-minute check-in after. Plan your day around the youngest child, not the oldest.

What this is not

  • There is no multi-child discount, because the price is already per family rather than per child.
  • Arizona ESA funds cannot pay for the family plan. The programme will not reimburse a subscription covering more than one student unless the receipt itemises each child, so ESA families buy a per-student licence instead. The ESA funding page explains how.
  • Younger children need more of you, not less. Below roughly third grade, a child who is still learning to read cannot run a lesson alone.
  • It is not accredited and it does not issue a diploma. It prints a transcript of what was taught and mastered.

Questions parents ask

What is the best homeschool curriculum for multiple kids?

It depends on your children, but if per-child pricing is the problem, Clareza Academy is one price, $29 a month, for every child in the household, across 71 K-12 courses. Each child has their own login, grade and progress. Every course is readable in full with no account and no card, so you can check it fits each child before paying.

Does it cost more for a second or third child?

No. The price covers every child in the family. There are no extra seats to buy.

Can my children be in different grades?

Yes. Each child has their own grade level, which you can change at any time, and you can add individual courses from any grade in the catalog for any child.

Can I see all my children's progress in one place?

Yes. You have one parent login for the whole family, and the dashboard shows who is stuck and on what. You can open any lesson and read the full conversation between Clara and that child.

Is there an annual plan?

Yes, $290 a year, chosen from your billing page once you have an account. Signing up starts you on the monthly plan either way, with the first 30 days free.
