Getting started (notice)
a one time notice of intent to the county superintendent giving the name, address and age of each child. It is not repeated annually.

reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies.
Records you must keep
the annual assessment result, kept by you.
Testing / evaluation
an annual academic assessment. The portfolio option has a certified teacher review samples of the child's work and write a narrative on progress in reading, language, mathematics, science and social studies, noting anything needing improvement. Results must be submitted to the county superintendent at grades 3, 5, 8 and 11, by June 30 of the year the assessment was given.
Parent qualifications
the person providing instruction must hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, or a post secondary degree or certificate from a regionally accredited institution.
